Volunteering:
Service projects are offered on a regular basis at the park. More details and dates for upcoming service projects can be found on the Events Calendar page.
Please contact Lee Cain at Living Classrooms of the National Capital Region at lcain@livingclassroomsdc.org if you are interested in volunteering at Kingman Island or if you are interested in setting up a volunteer event for your school, faith group, business, or community organization.

Kingman Island Bluegrass and Folk Festival
Each year Living Classrooms of the National Capital Region hosts the Kingman Island Bluegrass and Folk Festival on Kingman Island. It is the largest all-local music festival in the District, attracting over 10,000 guests annually, and requires hundreds of volunteers to produce.
